We will depart at approx. 2:40pm from UQ St Lucia. Embark on a comfortable coach transfer from Brisbane, heading straight to the scenic town of Jindabyne.
Embark on a comfortable coach transfer from Brisbane, heading straight to the scenic town of Jindabyne . Upon arrival, you’ll check in at the Acacia Snowy Motel, a cozy and welcoming accommodation ideally situated to provide easy access to the area’s attractions. This journey marks the beginning of an exciting adventure, seamlessly connecting you from the bustling city to the serene landscapes of Jindabyne. The Acacia Snowy Motel, known for its warm hospitality and comfortable rooms, will be your home away from home, for this trip.
Today marks an exhilarating day dedicated to skiing. The day begins with a convenient pickup from your hotel, whisking you away to Thredbo for a full day of breathtaking scenery, and the pure joy of skiing or snowboarding.
On the second day of your skiing adventure, the excitement continues with a morning pickup from your hotel. You’ll be swiftly transported back to Thredbo, one of Australia’s renowned ski destinations.
Day 3 of your skiing journey unfolds with the same invigorating spirit. As morning dawns, a prompt hotel pickup awaits to seamlessly continue your adventure in Thredbo.
On Day 4 of your exhilarating skiing trip, the adventure retains its vibrant energy. With the first light of morning, you’ll find a prompt and efficient hotel pickup ready to whisk you away for another day of winter excitement in the expansive, snow-covered terrains of Thredbo.
On our final day enjoy a morning off and explore Jindabyne! We depart at approx. 2:30pm to head back to Brisbane.
Arrival back in Brisbane at UQ St Lucia at approx. 9am
The group will be staying for 5 nights at Acacia Snowy Motel in 6-8 share student rooms. Daily hot breakfast and dinner is included.
The Motel is within easy reach of the shopping district, a variety of restaurants and takeaway food outlets, golf course, bowling club and boat launching facilities.
Our motel is located in Jindabyne, in the Snowy Mountains of New South Wales.
The hire of ski equipment, snow chains can be booked through us.
Buyers should be aware that the initial deposit of $389 for this trip is a non-refundable deposit (besides as indicated below), any payments a customer has made after this is fully refundable upon request of cancellation and incurs no cancellation fee. In this event please contact the UQ Ski through our email or Facebook page as we can and have in the past, offered other solutions to club trippers.
In the event of a trip cancellation due to COVID-19 restrictions, all receipt holders will be given a full refund less a $100 fee (includes a $25 fee from NZ Ski and any further incurred non-refundable expenses such as merch).
COVID-19 restrictions include the trip’s own travel restrictions, Brisbane lockdown, Queenstown lockdown and the condition of quarantine that affects further travel plans. This does not include personal quarantine due to prior travel/restrictions, travel restriction outside of Brisbane/Queenstown, self-isolation due to Covid-illness or Covid testing; such personal circumstances that do not affect the viability of the trip are not covered by our Covid refund guarantee.
