We will be departing on Thursday, 10th July from Brisbane to Queenstown.
Upon our arrival in New Zealand, a private transfer will be arranged to take us directly to our accommodation at Pinewood Lodge.
Our day commences with a private bus collection at 8 am, destined for Cardrona. Cardrona is nestled along the Crown Range Road, an undulating and mountainous path that meanders between Queenstown and Wanaka. This area is celebrated for its picturesque landscapes, featuring rolling hills and sweeping valleys that provide a stunning backdrop for our journey.
Cardrona itself is renowned for its charming alpine resort, a haven for skiing and snowboarding enthusiasts. The resort is distinguished by its wide, well-groomed slopes, suitable for all skill levels, and its advanced terrain parks that attract freestyle skiers and snowboarders from around the globe.
Today, we head to Coronet Peak, with world-class facilities, rollercoaster terrain and is Queenstown’s closest ski field. Includes private transfer to the Mountain.
Nestled amidst towering mountains and perched on the edge of the crystal-clear Lake Wakatipu, today offers you the perfect opportunity to explore the wonders of Queenstown. This is your last chance to explore the action packed town of Queenstown. On this day, we also have an optional Milford Sound trip.
Following an action-packed trip filled with both new and familiar friends, the time has come for us to commence our journey back home.

Pinewood Lodge is just a 7-minute walk from the town and nearby the Queenstown Gondolas.
For your convenience, barbecue facilities are provided in the lovely garden area, and there are mountain bicycle trails within 100m of the property. The property also offers ski storage and a guest laundry.
All rooms are heated, and have access to a shared lounge area. Best of all, we have our own apartment block just for our use!

Buyers should be aware that the initial deposit of $389 for this trip is a non-refundable deposit (besides as indicated below), any payments a customer has made after this is fully refundable upon request of cancellation and incurs no cancellation fee. In this event please contact the UQ Ski through our email or Facebook page as we can and have in the past, offered other solutions to club trippers.
In the event of a trip cancellation due to COVID-19 restrictions, all receipt holders will be given a full refund less a $100 fee (includes a $25 fee from NZ Ski and any further incurred non-refundable expenses such as merch).
COVID-19 restrictions include the trip’s own travel restrictions, Brisbane lockdown, Queenstown lockdown and the condition of quarantine that affects further travel plans. This does not include personal quarantine due to prior travel/restrictions, travel restriction outside of Brisbane/Queenstown, self-isolation due to Covid-illness or Covid testing; such personal circumstances that do not affect the viability of the trip are not covered by our Covid refund guarantee.
